Daniel

I had originally decided to build this site to host a portfolio, but at some point just decided to make it a central hub for my creative activities as well as a personal blog. But it is a bit of a portfolio as well.

I have been active in music promotion and publishing since 1994. Beginning as an experiment, I joined a local musician to create “computer music”. Since then, I have been involved in numerous bands, and designed album covers for even more. I have been instrumental in organizing more than a few massive underground music events and festivals. Currently I head operations for Bottle Imp Productions, a DIY online record label put together to help new and obscure artists broaden their reach globally.

I am interested in working with artists of all mediums that are interested in producing and promoting themselves, but do not have all the tools needed to do so. I can help establish a web presence, develop a marketing strategy, do photo shoots, cover design, as well as many other functions. I specializes in working with extremely obscure styles and subcultures and am always interested in exploring deeper in these territories.

The blog is now where I post most of my musings, updates, etc. I have back filled it with a ton of old content from various other online social media hubs I have used in the past including Livejournal, Myspace, Last.fm, Flickr, Facebook and others.
